Why Astrology?

Personality

Astrology is a tool that can be used in many ways. It can be used to know yourself:

• to know which paths will be easiest for you
• to learn how and why you act the way you do
• how to overcome the obstacles you place in your path in the way that is best for you

Astrology can also be used in just this way to evaluate the “personality” of a business or relationship.

Prediction

But, as we all know, astrology is much more than that. It is also a predictive tool. It can be used to tell us when something might happen, or when the best time to begin a project is. It can also be used to tell us how long a crisis will persist, or how severe a problem will become.

At its best, however, astrology cannot tell you specifics about what will happen. This is because astrology deals with symbolism, and similar symbolism in two different charts will lead to two different manifestations in real life. An astrologer can tell you that you have a financial opportunity coming up that will alleviate some of the stress you have been going through financially–but this particular set of circumstances could be completely unrelated to money. It might only have to do with you comfort and security. This is because money as well as comfort and security are governed by the second house. This is why we often ask questions of the people we are doing readings for: so we can fit the chart into a context and see how the energies manifest for the individual.

Relationships

Astrology is also a very valuable tool in evaluating relationships. This is true of romantic relationships as well as business relationships, and anything in between. We can see how well you may get along with someone in a particular circumstance, as well as what areas of the other person’s personality will be difficult for you to deal with–and how they are likely to react to you.
